Soft, high-capacity slings for power and heavy engineering
A hydro runner, a turbine housing or a large casting is already a finished, machined, coated item by the time it is lifted. The sling has to carry the weight without leaving a mark — that is precisely what polyester round and flat slings are for.
The four problems we are asked to solve
Every industry has its own way of losing a load. These are the ones our customers raise most often — and what we do about them.
Machined and coated surfaces
A scratch on a sealing face means rework on site, at your cost. Soft polyester round and flat slings distribute the load and leave the surface intact.
Heavy, but with no lifting points
Where there is no pad eye, endless and round slings can be choked or basketed around the component. We advise on the hitch and the resulting derating for your lift.
Abrasion on rough castings
Sharp or abrasive edges are what kills slings. Wear sleeves, edge protectors and the correct hitch keep a sling in service instead of in the scrap bin.
Matching slings to an existing rig
Slings must suit the shackles, master links and spreader beams you already own. Tell us the fittings and we will match the sling terminations and WLL to them.
Product families for power & heavy industry
These are the ranges this work usually draws on. Each one is made in our own factory, and every item can be built to your own specification.
Round Sling
Endless round slings with a seamless polyester cover protecting the core yarn — soft, flexible and gentle on painted or polished loads.

Standards are how a buyer checks a claim without visiting the factory. The marking on the product, the test record in our files and the standard in the table beside this are the same three things.
- Capacity and standard marked on every item
- Batch number traceable to the pull-test record
- Declaration of conformity supplied on request
- Third-party inspection (SGS, BV, Intertek) welcome

Power & Heavy Industry — FAQ
Can a sling be used in a choked hitch?+
Yes, but the working load limit is reduced — the derating factor depends on the hitch and the angle. We will confirm the allowable load for the hitch you plan to use.
Do you supply slings with protective sleeves?+
Yes. Wear sleeves, edge protectors and reinforced eyes are available on both flat and round slings, and are often specified for castings and fabricated steel.
What is the working temperature range?+
Standard polyester slings are rated for normal ambient conditions; high-temperature situations need a different sling material. Tell us the operating temperature and we will specify accordingly.
